WELCOME TO STRIKE

BACKGROUND

Strike is an application on both web and iOS that enables users to engage in sports betting and fantasy sports leagues. Strike aims to incentivize users to return each week. In order to do so, a point system is being created that will reward users for their participation each week, with higher rewards being given depending on the accuracy of their predictions.
This is a senior capstone project for CSUB’s computer science program, with support from CSUB’s small business management program. We are in the process of developing an application that makes it simple to create and join leagues, view predictions made, and gain “Strike Points.” As of the end of the school year, we have an application that allows users to register for an account, create leagues, and join leagues. We have also implemented a dashboard on the web app that allows users to view the leagues that they are involved in, similar to other fantasy sports apps on the market today. We are currently working on regulatory issues to enable a full beta testing version of the app.
